Accurate results

Precise and clear

We understand that when you use a tool such as Port Explorer you expect it to give reliable and accurate results each and every time. Professionals in the field cannot use faulty, unreliable or inaccurate tools as there are times when accuracy and reliability are mission critical. DiamondCS Port Explorer has been carefully designed to meet this strict criteria.

Powerful
DiamondCS Port Explorer is the only port-to-process mapper in the world that uses more than two different techniques to obtain port information. Having mastered the art of port-to-process mapping we've been able to implement five (5) different techniques, two of them completely undocumented (as of March 2003):
  - SNMP (Win95)
  - IPHelper (Win95, 98, NT, 2K, XP)
  - LSP (Win95, 98, NT, 2K, XP)
  - Undocumented TDI technique (WinNT/2K)
  - Undocumented IPHelper technique (WinXP)

Reliable
Memory-economic, multi-threaded for smooth performance and handling, and CPU-efficient are all attributes that go towards making Port Explorer a reliable program, but it's what you don't see that makes Port Explorer as solid as a rock. Port Explorer was developed in MS Visual Studio for professional error detection and handling, stringently analysed and error-tested by professional debugging software, and stress-tested in our 100mbs Local Area Network and on an ADSL connection to ensure smooth execution on high-bandwidth networks. Months of intensive beta-testing have also ensured that Port Explorer performs well on international systems.

Accurate
By using five different techniques, Port Explorer is able to compare and combine its own results to detect discrepancies and produce a report that is error-free and rich with data. With Port Explorer you don't have to worry about which port-to-process mapping tool you're using to obtain the best results - you're guaranteed the best results from a combined analysis of up to five different techniques, each and every time. It's like having five different netstat/port-to-process mapping utilities in one!
