FolderMon is a powerful directory monitoring tool. It can be used to watch directories, subdirectories, and even entire drives. You can even specify individual triggers (if you don't want to use them all):
- Any change to a file name
- Any change to a directory name
- Any change to the attributes of a file
- Any change to the size of a file
- Any change to the last write time of a file
- Any change to the last access time of a file
- Any change to the creation time of a file
- Any change to the security descriptor of a file
