Have you ever been frustrated by unhelpful error messages that only tell you a number and not an error description? ...
ErrorDesc is an easy to use utility that allows you to see the human-readable descriptions associated with each Windows and NTStatus error codes and supports decimal and hexadecimal (ie. 80 = "The file exists", 0xC0000005 = "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION"). It also allows you to see ranges of error codes such as 85 to 87 (as seen in the following screenshot), which is useful considering there are tens of thousands of error codes!
